BriteCore is seeking a Scrum Master who is a servant-leader responsible for coordinating Agile development across two or more teams as well as scaling across multiple teams. They are tasked with promoting and supporting Scrum framework theory, practices, rules, and values. They coach and mentor teams and other Scrum Masters in lean-Agile mindset and practices, empowering the teams to deliver business value early and often.
About the Position Responsibilities Manage and coach team performance Motivate team to work as a unit Facilitate team efforts Have the ability to share the big picture view and tie all the pieces together to the vision Helps guide and lead the team on the SAFe process Guides the team to focus on daily and iteration goals based on the PI objectives Leads the team improve and take responsibility for their actions. Teaches problem solving techniques and helps the team become better problem solvers. Facilitates and setups meetings (daily stand-up, Iteration planning, Iteration Review, and Iteration Retrospective. Supports the Product Owner in their efforts to manage the backlog Eliminates an issues blocking the team to produce their iteration objectives Communicates with management and outside stakeholders; helps [protect the team from uncontrolled expansion of work. Helps coordinate inter-team cooperation and helps the team operate well on the train. Representative in the Scrum of Scrums meetings and pass the information back to the team and coordinates connections needed. Assists the team in preparation for ART activities, including PI Planning, System Demos, and the Inspect and Adapt. Requirements 5 plus years of combined experience working in a complex Agile environment
Bachelors Degree Deep knowledge and expertise in Lean and Agile frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, etc.
Thorough understanding of one or more Agile at Scale frameworks e.g. SAFe, LeSS, S@S, etc.
Strong facilitation and communication skills: ability to facilitate teams through tough conversations and maintain a positive and supportive team environment
Ability to challenge and remove team, organizational and/or cultural impediments, thereby promoting and supporting change that increases the Scrum teams productivity
Ability to resolve conflicts within the team before they become an issue
Strong facilitator Agile champion, promoter, protector, and team coach
Collaborator who seeks consensus among peers
Organized planner with diligent execution skills
