Apple's Online Services team is seeking a passionate, driven and seasoned Dev/Ops Lead/Manager who will play a central role in the development and delivery Operations Software supporting the new Spotlight Suggestions search service. The Online Services team is a diverse, tight knit group of developers, systems, and network engineers supporting millions of customers in a large, global multi-datacenter environment.
As a leader in our fast-paced group, you’ll have the unique and rewarding opportunity to shape the future of information search and discovery. We are looking for people with experience in creating high-performance, high-volume, data-focused Linux/Unix server side products. A good foundation of application flow, software release, data pipelines, network engineering and load balancing is important. Experience in search technologies is a plus!
Lead a team of engineers to build software, tools and automation supporting a large scale online service. Manage a portfolio of multiple projects, set priorities with measurable objectives.
Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or closely related field, Master's degree strongly preferred.
