Senior Developers at NICE receive a Recruitment & Retention allowance which is £5,000 pro rata per year on top of the salary. Salary: Band 7 £37,570 - £43,772 pa + £5000.

You’ll enjoy finding simple, maintainable solutions to problems and be able to help less experienced developers to do so. You might prefer back-end or full-stack development. You'll take ownership for the quality of the code you and the team produce and help to promote best practise. You’ll thrive using agile methods and enjoy working openly, collaboratively and as part of a multidisciplinary team. You’ll be familiar with modern frameworks, languages and tools, as well as working practices such as automated testing, pairing and code review to regularly deploy features to production. Above all, you’ll want to continually improve your skills, the team and our digital services, whilst having fun along the way.

Your CV and cover letter will be reviewed by a panel of shortlisters. If you are successful in being shortlisted you will be invited to an interview at our Manchester office. The interview will be approximately 2 hours and will consist of a face-to-face interview (1hr) followed by a technical exercise (45 minutes). The technical exercise will be a pair programming activity with one of our developers. This is so that we can see how you approach problem-solving, your level of technical knowledge and how well you work with others.

Digital Services within NICE is responsible for delivering and improving all NICE’s digital services and applications. Our strategy is to deliver services that meet our users’ needs.
We're a 50 strong department but we work in small agile teams of developers, designers, business analysts and others. We build a minimum viable product, then measure and iterate. We’re constantly improving our services to make them simpler, clearer and faster for our 2 million users a month.
