Lead IoT Engineer - Full stack javascript software developer and solutions architect

We are looking for an experienced technology lead with full stack Javascript and IoT experience. To lead the software team in the agile development of our web, mobile and cloud applications, IoT products, as well building efficient and scalable solutions. A hands-on role, where you will build and manage your own teams and coordinate outsourced development.

Tasks

• Lead, manage and build our tech team and coordinate outsourced development as required
• Technical product design, solution architecture, specifications and implementation of Livello solutions
• Development and optimisation of innovative electronic hardware products in the IoT and embedded environment
• Strong understanding of IoT business and products to support planning and structuring of development
• Development of modern Javascript-based applications in the front and back-end
• Quality assurance of the software through planning, creation and execution of tests
• Work with a cross-functional team to define, build, test, and deploy universal applications
• Version control with Git is part of your daily work and continuous integration
• Ensure the implementation of technical standards and best practices

Requirements

• Master in Computer Science or comparable field of study
• 5+ years of experience in leading technical teams, designing, architecture and implementation of technical systems
• Strong understanding of IoT business and products to support planning and structuring of development
• Full Stack experience with JavaScript, React, GraphQL, Node.JS, Nest.js, TypeScript
• State management solutions (Redux, -Saga)
• Test and deployment automations: gitlab, fastlane, jest,
• IoT-to-Cloud managed services including device to backend data flow and device control, IoT device management, Microservices, Kubernetes and Docker on GCP
• Microservices, Kubernetes and Docker on GCP, Microservice messaging architecture experiences (preferred with RabbitMQ)
• IoT device management and mConcepts, Deployment and maintenance of cloud message brokers like AMQP or MQTT

Nice to have and highly desired

• Understanding of containerized applications and container management on the edge
• Firmware development for microcontrollers (RTOS based) and edge communications like Bussystems, serial interfaces
• Basic knowledge and understanding of low range wireless technologies (Bluetooth, Wifi Mesh)
