Who you are:
You are a confident Software Engineer (Cloud) rooted in best practices of service development and design. With your desire to stay ahead of the curve in all things Cloud, you bring to the team a proficiency in developing, deploying and debugging cloud-based applications on AWS and experience in software development. As we encourage knowledge sharing, you thrive in an environment built on team efforts and support.
What you will do:
At the first 3 months mark, your impact will be through:
Designing & implementing an end-to-end AWS Lambda & InfluxDB solution Designing & implementing an AWS CloudWatch Logs to Loggly solution Following established Github Workflows: RFCs, Branching, PRs, Code Review
Long term, you will impact the organization by:
Implementing and maintaining IoT data pipelines using streaming & lambda architectures Providing solutions using dominant cloud providers: AWS & GCP Being the expert in SQL & NoSQL DBs: Postgres, Redis, InfluxDB, BigQuery, etc Storing geotemporal data using industry best practices Suggesting/implementing improvements to internal documentation Designing Specifications (analog/digital) before engaging in coding new features
