About the Role:
The Client Services team at Basho works with the Development and Operations staff of leading technology companies around the world. These range from Silicon Valley startups to Fortune 100 companies. The Client Services Engineer is typically someone from a software engineering and/or systems administration background that is looking for a new challenge.
The role is highly technical and requires in-depth problem solving. You should be self-motivated and unafraid of difficult puzzles that require learning new concepts and tools. You will be working closely with both customers and our engineering team to investigate complex issues. You will need to thoroughly learn how our products work. Digging in to the source code should sound fun to you.

Work directly with customers and the community to answer questions and solve problems. Create educational material: documentation, webinars, demo apps, etc. Conduct training: remote and on-site. Identify, reproduce and document product bugs. Invent new ways to improve our company and products.
Experience with data-storage (SQL, NoSQL, Graph, “big-data”). Passionate about any of the following: distributed systems, Erlang, functional programming, development best practices. Experience with writing / editing technical documentation. Experience with large production deployments. A Github account
We are specifically looking for people in the Mountain and Pacific timezones. Remote (USA) candidates welcome.
