We are an ambitious team of c.340 people across two business divisions; wholesale and retail, and work with an extensive network of retail/e-tail/online partners.
Our Wholesale business is located across 3 sites, Trowbridge (HQ), Altringham and Seaham. Our Retail business is headquartered in superb offices close to Altrincham town centre and has around 30 office and store locations around the country.
Banner is private equity owned and has invested considerable resources in developing the leading digital offer in our market. As a result, we have an ambitious digital change agenda, stewarded by a Digital Advisory Board and strong sponsorship from our CEO. We are implementing Magento 2+ across all our platforms and have partnered with Maginus as our external development partner. We have a number of exciting, cutting edge projects and we require an outstanding Senior Magento Developer to drive Magento App development and front end delivery, which is seen as pivotal to the Group’s commercial success.

Summary of this position
In this pivotal position you will responsible for developing PHP applications on the Magento 2.3 platform. As a Senior Magento developer you will help shape our development pipeline while building bespoke applications that are unique to our industry. Working with our development partner Maginus you will optimise and improve our websites on the Magento Enterprise Cloud architecture. Passion for code is a must!
Day to day you will develop code, unit test your work, document, estimates work and be a sounding board for concepts and ideas. Working alongside IT team, UX developer and marketing you be responsible for delivering a great backlog of applications and new features both front and backend.
