The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills: -Deep knowledge and expertise in use of the Android SDK, including UI components, navigation paradigms, and data/networking services. -Familiarity with architecting apps for different screen sizes, resolutions, and Android OS versions. -Experience building apps which consume data from JSON web services, and store data locally for performance / offline use. -Ability to build apps which tolerate inconsistent network connections to backend services. -Experience with industry standard encryption techniques and ensuring data privacy/protection standards.
