What is the project you will be working on?
You will be part of a project from ODISSEI – the Open Data Infrastructure for Social Science and Economic Innovations. Together with the project partners, you will work towards providing a shared social science research infrastructure and accelerate the development of computational social science in the Netherlands. Specifically, the task you will focus on pertains to deploying a portal that provides uniform access to social science (meta)data from various large scale studies and several institutions, including CBS, CentERdata and DANS.

What will you be earning? Depending on your age and experience, your gross monthly salary will range between € 2.709,- and € 4.274,- (scale 10 of the collective labour agreement for Dutch universities), based on 38 working hours per week, excluding 8% holiday allowance and 8,3% year-end bonus.
The position involves a temporary, four-year contract for the duration of the project.
DANS (Data Archiving and Networked Services)
Data Archiving and Networked Services (DANS-KNAW) is a joint institute of the Academy and funding organisation NWO. It encourages researchers to make their digital research data findable, accessible, interoperable and reusable. It provides expert advice and certified services. By participating in Dutch and international projects, networks and research, DANS contributes to the ongoing innovation of the global scientific data infrastructure.
