Every day, publishers and brands around the world work with WoodWing products to create magazines, newspapers, and other content, online, in-app, and in print. At WoodWing, you will help build the future of content production, in an organization with little hierarchy and lots of freedom to develop your own skills.

About your role

Come help us develop the WoodWing Studio codebase further, taking it to the next level. Studio is the frontend to our advanced workflow- and content editing software, guiding many of the world’s top publishers to produce print- and digital content.

We’re looking for a new senior frontend developer who will help maintain, build new functionality and implement improvements within WoodWing Studio. You’ll work with other developers to both support frontend functionality and expand the capabilities of the system. You think about the desired user flow and design new or improved functionality. At WoodWing, developers have the freedom to choose which tools and technologies they want to use to get the work done, respecting the limitations of the existing frameworks and code. You enjoy working with other developers to improve your knowledge.

The core of the current technology stack comprises Angular, AngularJS and TypeScript. We use other languages, libraries and tools in our applications - as long as it helps us reach our goals. We expect you to pick up new things quickly and to strengthen the team with your own experience and ideas.

  Who you are

Minimum requirements:

• 3+ years experience as a developer, preferably working on web apps.
• Experience with object oriented programming languages, preferably TypeScript.
• Experience with Angular and AngularJS.
• Experience with troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• You can pick up new programming languages or tools quickly if need be.
• You can work independently within a small, multidisciplinary team.
• You can communicate in English, in both spoken and written word.
• Experience applying an Agile methodology

To your advantage:

• Experience with AWS and Docker
• Experience with Test Driven Development.
• Experience with Object-Oriented Design.
• Experience with Continuous Deployment or Continuous Delivery
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, PHP and Electron.   Salary indication

• We offer a gross monthly salary of between €3,156 and €5,259, based on a 40 hour work week, which will be set according to your experience and knowledge.
• WoodWing will pay 50% of your pension contributions
• Optional yearly bonus, based on the financial results of the previous year.
