The Senior Director of Digital Architecture, is accountable for proactively and collaboratively leading Digital Information Technology End to End architecture for the digital technology stack. This starts and ends with a focus on delivering signature-ready, actionable technology recommendations to Digital, Business and IT leaders, so they can adjust roadmaps and projects to achieve target business outcomes.  Based out of Rogers corporate headquarters in downtown Toronto, the successful candidate will lead digital architecture strategy and technology roadmaps in partnership with the digital team, managing a team of architects in a direct reporting capacity.  The Senior Director of Digital Architecture must be capable of practically applying existing, new and emerging technologies to new and evolving business and operating models. Conversely, they must be able to understand, monetize and operationalize new technologies.   What you will be doing…

• Responsible for the technology strategy and the support of the roadmaps for digital platforms that underpin all online and mobile capabilities required to support Rogers’ multi and omni-channel strategies and emerging technology opportunities in partnerships with the Digital product and technology leaders. 
• Interface with the Digital teams, while collaborating with supporting IT teams.  
• Sits on both the IT Architecture and the Digital SLT’s.
• Be an active and thoughtful business partner, working with Digital and business teams to support self-serve for digitally-enabled applications (i.e. sales and service enablement and adoption initiatives). 
• Build strategic relationships with key leaders in the spirit of partnership across Rogers with a focus on achieving predictable delivery outcomes.
• Build, grow and develop the highest performing digital architecture team in the industry, bringing depth to all system areas to deliver against business demands.
• Lead a team of architects and Influence digital business initiatives.
• Identify Ecosystems and Develop Business Models
• Research and Understand Technology and Non-technology Trends
• Enable Enterprise Ideation and Innovation
• Determine and Help Orchestrate the Delivery of Business Outcomes   What you have…
• Master's or Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, system analysis or equivalent business experience.
• full-stack experience across a diverse range of web and mobile technologies and methodologies, including mobile development, web authentication technologies, content management solutions, data caching and data transformation, e-commerce engines, and personalization technology. 
• Familiarity with Cloud platforms at the SaaS and PaaS domains
• Has delivered the customer-facing digital channel and product needs of a business by applying leading digital content and e-commerce technology and methodologies.
• Knowledge of business models, operating models, financial models, cost-benefit analysis, budgeting and risk management.
• Familiarity with information management practices, system development life cycle management in Agile/sAFE, IT services management, infrastructure and operations, and EA and ITIL frameworks.
• Knowledge of business ecosystems, SaaS, infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), SOA, APIs, open data, micro-services, event-driven IT and predictive analytics
• Exposure and understanding of existing, new and emerging technologies, and processing environments
• Strong leadership skills
• Excellent analytical and technical skills
